robert christian price rob restaurant owner & chef 31 | June 15th 1984 brooklyn, new york boston, massachusetts something or other

Robert Christian Price came into the world a few weeks early, and without a father. Though his mother vowed at his birth to try her best, it wasn't long before the newborn went largely ignored by his mother, only being fed and changed so he would stop crying. The only companionship that Rob had in his life was his older brother, but even he didn't like Rob that much--he had been used to being the only child, and what little attention he got was now being cut in half to provide for this screaming, unwanted baby. Still, as toddler Rob began to learn to crawl, walk, talk, run, and all the things that little ones do, it wasn't long before the boys were joined by a girl, by yet another father. The same pattern happened time after time until their mother finally had enough sense to stop at five children...if only to save her sanity, or what little remained. The children learned to take care of themselves, and oftentimes each other, as their mother remained mostly out of the picture. At age 16, Child Services determined that their mother was no longer fit to raise the children. And, without fathers in the picture, the children were put into foster care. The two youngest (both girls) were quickly adopted together and out of state. Their older brother quickly vanished without a trace, while Rob and Charlie lost touch.

The truth was, Rob had been relocated to Boston, where a couple had hoped to adopt him. Considering he was a 16 year old boy, it was almost the best situation he could imagine--it would only be better if his siblings were there, too. Unfortunately, after a year passed, the best situation turned sour as the couple decided at last minute to not adopt Rob, going as far as requesting he be returned to the foster home. Not able to return to the home he had in Brooklyn--overcrowding, they said--he was moved to another foster home in Boston. With no one wanting to adopt a 17 year old kid, Rob eventually turned 18 and "aged out" of the system, becoming a legal adult and his own guardian. Probably for the better, he always thought, since no one else wanted to take care of him more than himself. He finished high school (barely passing, but passing nonetheless) and promptly started working.

He started out as a dishwasher at a local burger joint. It wasn't much, but it was income, and it was just enough to pay rent. He shared a two bedroom apartment with three other people, all kids that also had aged out of the system. Though not an ideal situation, sharing tight quarters with other "unwanted" kids was something he'd grown used to by that point in his life. As Rob continued working in the restaurant business, he made the transition to cook, flipping burgers and making fries. He found himself hopping from restaurant to restaurant, getting a small pay raise each time he did so, finally finding himself working for a nice Mexican couple who owned an authentic Mexican restaurant in Boston. He remained loyal to them for several years, becoming one of their most tenured cooks in their restaurant. Eventually they bought a taco stand, and with the trust they had in Rob, they allowed him to run the stand by himself virtually all day every day.

Unfortunately, a failing economy took its toll on the Mexican couple and they were forced to shut down their restaurant. As much as Rob loved what he did, he was more upset that the family had lost out on their labor of love. As a token of appreciation for his hard work for them, the couple allowed Rob to keep the taco stand free of charge. It might not have seemed like much, but Rob took what knowledge he had of the Mexican food business, revamping the taco stand into his own: Rob's Taco Stand. At first, business was slow...but all it took was a little bit of savvy (okay, so he lucked out by parking outside of a bar one late night after 2AM) and soon his business began to flourish. The income was steady enough that in early 2014, he was able to invest in a used food truck. Using what he had available, Rob painted the truck himself (bright yellow) and turned the truck into an even more successful business than before.

Bob, Agent of Hydra

A cowardly young man, Bob was persuaded into joining the criminal organization HYDRA by his wife, Allison, who accused him of not being able to hold a steady job. The thought of a stable career with a dental plan also appealed to Bob, though he was disappointed to find out HYDRA does not offer full dental like A.I.M.. During Deadpool's assault on HYDRA to rescue the captured Agent X, he ran into Bob and coerced him into helping him. Bob was hesitant, as HYDRA would not allow him back into the organization having betrayed them, but the (currently four-inch tall) Deadpool tortured him with a security card until he relented. He then forced Bob to fly them to safety in one of HYDRA's jets, though Bob did not know how to pilot an aircraft.

After Deadpool, Agent X, and Bob returned to the United States, they found Outlaw and Sandi missing. Bob accompanied Deadpool on his mission to save the girls and subsequently became an honorary member of Agency X. He continues to work with the group on their various missions, and is referred to as Deadpool's "Pet" (or "Minion", because that is "more PC"). Bob was recently shot in the leg, during a raid on the very same HYDRA base Deadpool kidnapped him from, in an attempt to save Weasel from Wolverine. When Wolverine cut off Deadpool's head, Bob was the one who put it back and let Deadpool's healing factor kick in. After Deadpool and Bob rescued Weasel, they were suddenly teleported into the past, where they aided Captain America and Bucky in stopping Arnim Zola. They eventually ended up in the Baxter Building 8 years in the past with the Fantastic Four of that era. The then-current FF (With Black Panther and Storm replacing Reed and Sue) brought them back with the aid of Weasel. Following that adventure, Bob accompanied Deadpool on a mission through various dimensions to help Doctor Strange save reality after it was damaged by T-Ray's novice magic.

He also traveled with Deadpool and Weasel to the Savage Land, where he ran away from an assortment of dinosaurs. Deadpool attempted to teleport the dinos to Genosha as a prank on Magneto, but instead they were sent to the Genoshan Embassy in downtown Manhattan, as well infected with the alien Symbiotes responsible for Venom and Carnage. During the resultant battle, Bob's attempt to flee accidentally caused the death of one of the creatures while a news crew watched. Thinking his actions were intentional, they interviewed Bob who claimed the 'H' on his uniform stood for "Hero". He then received a text message from Allison who had seen the events on the news and thought it was hot. Bob is seen watching television with Deadpool and his supporting cast as the series ends.

Later on Bob is seen, in a reversal of roles, he saved Deadpool during a fight with Tiger Shark. When Deadpool asked him, what he was doing? Bob replied "U-uh saving you". Deadpool commanded Bob to throw him the rifle. Bob complied but the rifle fell into the water where Tiger Shark was patiently waiting, Deadpool teased Bob for throwing like a girl. Tiger Shark was eventually defeated and Bob later accompanied Deadpool and Doctor Betty Swanson on their mission to find a bio-weapon, which turned out to be the Zombified decapitated head of Deadpool from an alternate reality known as the Zombieverse.
